Véka invests 8,5 million euro and creates 20 jobs. (September 2011)
The German group Véka Recyclage, settled for three years in Vendeuvre-sur-Barse, laid the foundations of the extension of its factory. The end of the works is planned in June, 2012 and about twenty jobs will be create to reach a global staff of 45 persons.

The inauguration of the production unit and the head office of the german firm “Fränkische” took place on Saturday morning in Torcy-le-Grand. (September 2011)
Leader of the tube for the drainage of waters and electric sheathing, the German firm "Fränkische" chose the Aube department to open its first factory in France. Eventually, it will employ 100 employees.

On July 1st, 2011, Aube Developpement had the pleasure to welcome in Troyes a delegation of the IFA “Invest in France Agency” with representatives of the offices of New York, New Delhi, Tokyo and Madrid.
This visit was in line with a travel in Champagne-Ardenne organized by Champagne-Ardenne economic development agency CADEV (Champagne-Ardenne Development).
Our hosts visited several business parks (the Aube logistic Park, the Parc du Grand Troyes, the Troyes agribusiness park) and were welcomed in the University of Technology of Troyes and in the Aube Science Park.
Beyond the dynamism of the teams, they were able to appreciate the available land offer, the quality of the higher education and the help for businessmen as well as the highly specialised skills within the research laboratories of the UTT.

Connection between the universities of technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM) and Troyes (UTT). (January 2011)
Both schools have for objective to create a university of technology more visible on the international scene and with a dimension comparable to the international competition, in particular with countries of the North of Europe.
A structure grouping together the UTBM and the UTT would represent: 5 000 students, 1 000 graduates per year, 390 teachers-researchers and an annual budget of 80 M€.
